Tools for Effective Communications in Igbo Language: The Fable of the Ingenious Clairvoyance, the Savage Fox and the Hounded Rooster

The Igbo language is a means of communication and an integral part of Igbo culture. When a fable is deployed to communicate, it exemplifies the summit of Igbo usage. Therefore, if an Igbo is capable of speaking the language well, it becomes a virtue but if he or she can deploy fables in advancing a point or strengthening the communication and embellishing the speech it becomes a milestone that distinguishes the speaker and confirms him or her as an authority in Igbo linguistic.
