Imo: Kwankwaso mobilises supporters for 2019

Ahead the 2019 general elections, former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has commenced mobilization and sensitization of his supporters across Imo State.
The support structure of the two-time governor cuts across the 27 council areas of the state and operates under the aegis of the Kwankwasiya Movement.
In a sensitization meeting held in Owerri, the Imo state capital, scores of supporters in the movement donning their trademark red cap reaffirmed their loyalty and commitment to the group.
Addressing members of the movement, the convener of the meeting and governorship hopeful, Mr. Benneth Ezeji, advised the supporters to keep their eyes on the ball and never lose focus of the ideals and fundamentals that drive the Kwankwasiya movement.
He said: “Our leader, Senator Kwankwaso has been consistent in his political ideology and in his principle of integrity. And I wish to convey his goodwill to every member of his political family here gathered while stressing that in leadership, credibility is everything. And that is the selling point of our leader.”
Ezeji urged the members of the movement to brace up for the task ahead as the year 2018 will be a busy year for the group.
“There is no time to waste and we cannot afford to lose any ground to anybody or group. It is my hope that you will take our message of hope down to the grassroots where most of you operate,” he said.
Also at the meeting was the South-East coordinator of the group, Prince Matthew Onwukwe.
